Except Godavari, Pennar, Krishna, Tungabhadra, Bhima, Manjeera, Pranahita, all rivers have their source at East mountainsides and destination at Bay of Bengal. The Deccan rivers (Godavari and Krishna) contribute about 30 % of the total out flow in India.
