CDR is logging twice into MYsql DB in asterisk, what can be the reason

Please check the Call Detail Record (CDR) settings by the below command

*CLI> cdr show status

Call Detail Record (CDR) settings

Logging: Enabled
Mode: Simple
Log unanswered calls: No
Log congestion: No

  • Registered Backends

cdr-custom
csv
Adaptive ODBC
MySQL

you will be getting the above result if so you need to noload the res_mysql by adding the below line in modules.conf

and restart the asterisk service..

NJOY!!
noload => cdr_mysql.so
