Mans age will be 42 and Sons age is 18

Fathers Age: 36 and Sons Age: 12

Son's current age = X
Father's current age = X + 24
12 years ago
X + 24 - 12= 5( X -12)
X + 12 = 5X - 60 
4X = 72
X = 18  / Son's age
18 + 24 = 42 / father's age
