To configure an IP address on a Mikrotik Router, follow these steps:
Connect to the router: You can access the Mikrotik Router via a web browser or through a terminal application. To connect via a web browser, open your browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.88.1. Alternatively, you can connect via a terminal application such as PuTTY.
Navigate to the IP settings: Once you are connected to the router, navigate to the "IP" menu and select "Addresses".
Add a new IP address: Click on the "Add New" button to add a new IP address. In the "Address" field, enter the IP address you want to assign to the router. In the "Netmask" field, enter the subnet mask. In the "Interface" field, select the interface to which you want to assign the IP address.
Save the configuration: Click on the "Apply" button to save the configuration. The router will now be assigned the new IP address.
Note: It's important to make sure that the IP address you assign to the router is not already in use on the network, otherwise you may experience IP conflicts.
