There is a new scam going on where scammers make phone calls pretending to be your father's friend and your father asked him to send the money to your UPI/Bank account. They ask for your UPI / Bank details, claiming they need to send you money. They send a fake message that looks like a normal bank transaction, saying that Rs. 25,000 has been credited to your account. Then they ask you to return the excess amount they claim to have mistakenly added by saying they added an extra zero. Be cautious of such calls and do not share your UPI details or transfer any money in such situations.
